In honour of International Biodiversity day, NEPTUNE Canada has published their Marine Life Field Guide as both a PDF and an iBook, for free download. 

This guide features many of the deep-sea species observed through cameras deployed to the seafloor and also encountered during our expeditions to the region. This field guide is a "living" book that will be updated regularly with new pictures and video clips. And it will also stay alive with the comments and information we receive from the global research community, and people of all ages who appreciate the vast biodiversity of our oceans.
